Biography

Steffen Schmidt is a staff scientist (Akademischer Rat) in bioinformatics at the University of Bayreuth, Germany. His research interest includes sequence-structure-function relationship, protein evolution, effect of non-synonymous mutations, expression profiling, and enzyme evolution.
